Our Mission at EMeRGe is:
To improve population health outcomes through research evidence and to translate the evidence into effective decision making for policy and practice. In particular, to: promote safe, quality and effective medicines management and model disease epidemiology in cancer and cardiovascular disease.
Four main pillars of research within the Research Unit:
- Safe and Quality Medicines (RLA; ADR study; Drug interactions; PIP ; high risk)
- Adherence (TILDA, CPCR cohort, and breast cancer intervention studies)
- Cancer epidemiology (Breast-Predict; Cancer Pharmacopeia; Integrative Cancer Epidemiology / Molecular Epidemiology )
- Other disease modelling/epi (stroke-Cog; CHD models)
